The best way to get to my house is to come along the North of Cambridge on the A14 towards Newmarket. From the North, as the A14 becomes the M11, turn off onto the A14 (East) towards Newmarket. From the South, come off the M11 at junction 14 to join the A14 (east) towards Newmarket.
Turn off the A14 at the Histon (B1049) exit and turn right at the roundabout towards Cambridge.
Just off the roundabout are traffic lights where you need to turn left.
Passing Car Zone on your left, proceed straight for a mile through 2 sets of lights.
When you get to a major set of lights (near the Golden Hind), go straight on into Green End Rd.<
Pretty soon you'll start to encounter speed bumps and a mini roundabout which you need to go straight over.
Turn left into the High Street, in front of Grumpy's petshop, which you'll see in a ground of shops on your left.
At the next mini roundabout turn left into Water Lane, which becomes Fen Rd.
Follow Fen Rd until you see a level crossing across the road, at which point turn left into Cheney Way.

Cycling to my Cheney Way
Cambridge cycling Campaign have a decent Cambridge Cycle Map linked from their website. My house is in the top right of this somewhere near the river. From the south of the city you would normally cross the river at Stourbridge Common opposite the Green Dragon pub.
Getting the Bus to Cheney Way
Stagecoach have produced a nice map of the citi bus routes. Cheney Way is on the Citi 5 route at the stop marked 'Fen Estate'.
